Sure, but grass isn’t hard isn’t clay isn’t carpet etc

I hear ya but yea it’s still great to watch regardless of how the slam count ends up. Crazy though, that folks don’t realize that Novak ALWAYS pushed Rafa from the start, he just could never close the deal (08 Olympics). Once he got over that hurdle, he became a GOAT in the making.

When i think of the big 3 against each other, i think the ONE Grand Slam match they wish they could have back against each other is are following:

Federer against Novak: 40-15 2019 Wimbledon

Federer against Nadal: 2008 Wimbledon. Peeps forget he was up 4-1 in the second set and Nadal came back and stole the set

Nadal vs Federer: 2 break points up in Fed to go up 4-2 in the 5th of the 2007 Wimbledon

Nadal vs Novak: that missed bunny up the line in the 5th set up 4-2 of the 2012 Australian Open that woulda put Rafa up 40-15 on his serve.

Novak vs Fed: 2007 US Open. Novak was up 6-5 40-love in the 1st set and choked. Then had two set points in the second set, granted on Fed’s serve, and lost the set.

Novak vs Rafa: had 4 break points deep in the 3rd set of the 2013 US Open finals and would have went up 5-4 but let Rafa steal that game then break him to take the set

2017 Aussie between Fed and Nadal too. Nadal was up 3-1 in the fifth and most thought it was over. That had HEAVY "here we go again" vibes.

2021 ATP Sudden Death League: Halle & Queens

You down @Regular_P @MillionMills :lupe:

Yeah, I'd be down.

Anyways, I don't think I'll bet on the men's side, unless I go match by match. I think Djokovic wins, but I don't like any of the longshot odds.

For the women, I think I'm going to throw some on Kenin, Gauff, and Sakkari.:yeshrug:.

Kenin +1200
Gauff +2000
Sakkari +5000:noah:.

bruh what the hell Ljubicic put into Fed’s backhand that match in the 5th set? It’s like Fed shyt turned up a NOTCH ive NEVER seen and he started blasting Rafa off the court since then :mindblown:. I think Fed takes it the shot off his backhand earlier now rendering Rafa useless to target it. Hell he was low
key giving Rafa hell at the 2019 FO too

I hope so bruh. When you watch him you see talent but it seems like he hasn’t learned how to construct a point. I’m honestly not sure if Uncle Toni is the right coach for him
He’s baffling, the talent is there but as you say, his point construction can be lacking. Somewhat similar to Dimitrov when he was breaking through, always felt he had more to give. Also feel for a guy his size/height, his serve needs to be better, doesn’t get enough cheap points from it.

I hope he can gets over the hurdle tomorrow but Cilic on grass will be a tough out.

If they weren't playing in a tornado in 2019, Fed woulda had a chance to win that match. That woulda been the feather in his cap, especially since Nadal hasn't beat him off clay since 2014.

I think Fed was too prideful to change/adapt until he was past his prime when it came to Nadal.

I'm down for the Wimbledon pick 'em.

Did anyone bother watching the women’s finals? Take out Osaka and Coco and it’s a blend boring genetic Eastern European fest.
