I guess that wouldn't be shocking. He was trash at Wimbledon for years until 2018 and 2019. Maybe he doesn't believe he could beat Tsitsipas and Medvedev there as well as Joker and Fed. Nadal doesn’t imo, his credentials are overly weighted towards clay, be it slams, masters or otherwise
