at the very least, Ben, imo, has enough talent to make the QF at every Grand Slam
Yeah, he had a great showing. I haven't followed him much outside of the occasional match...he's still on the ascent at 22 right?

Shelton needs more variety to his game, even moreso on clay. Even Foe has added a nice drop shot as well as net game to his arsenal.

Yea. Today, imo, was probably one of the best matches he’s played on any surface. Played with controlled against a fellow top player than he usually plays with. Hopefully he can carry it over to the grass season

No doubt. I think, in my HONEST opinion, he’d be wise to add an established coach to his coaching staff. I think his dad as his coach, tactics wise, has gotten him as far as he can get Ben.
Thankfully, I don’t see any conceivable way he becomes the next Donald Young

Yea Ben lost today for the same criticism I posted about earlier in this thread… Carlos adapted to Ben going hard down the middle with his return and frustrated Ben getting balls back.
Ben showed an unwillingness to keep the rally going and Alcaraz outlasted him. Tactics wise Ben is way behind the top 2, Draper, & Musetti. He’s in that same camp as Rune…things get tough they rush and try to blast their way thru trouble.
