But yeah TBH I like Jess but as a credible top player she is kind of a fraud
She's a Tier 2 player. Same tier as Paolini and Svitolina. She's made the most of her ability but she's just not as talented as Iga, Coco, or Aryna and that's fine.

Pegula just doesn't have the weapons to just outright hit an opponent off the court so she has to grind away opponents...sometimes she gets hot and can win a tournament (if the draw is favorable)...and other times if an opponent can hit thru her or stay with her in rallies, she'll fall apart.

Exactly.
You can be a "top player" if you consider being a top 15 or even top 10 player a top player. However, there is a completely different level at the top where you need that actual physical talent, and she doesn't have it compared to some of the other top players.
