Good luck to the rest of the field for the next decade or more. Someone may come along in the next five years or so, but Alcaraz and Sinner are a CLEAR couple of tiers about the rest.

Baring injury, they should be facing off for MANY more majors. Only way they aren't in many more is injuries or if Alcaraz just has a day full one boneheaded plays.

One of the best matches I've ever seen, and tennis is in EXCELLENT hands with these two as the face of men's tennis, and Coco becoming a/the face of women's tennis.

Keep in mind that this is a surface Alcaraz is supposed to be better on.

Sinner will be out for blood come Wimbledon and the U.S. Open/

Not saying he's going to definitely win one or both, but it would not be a surprise.

Shelton has talent. He has a great serve and is athletic, but Alcaraz and Sinner are on another level. This was just an amazing match. Unreal.

And, even though Sinner had triple Championship point and lost, I'm not considering this a choke. If it was against ANYONE other than Alcaraz or Djokovic, I'd say it was, but sometimes there's nothing you can do.

I give him just as much credit for not folding after that as I do Alcaraz coming back.

Ben has the best chance to win a major for the active American men, give him time, he's nowhere near a finished product.
