A lot of this has to just do with experince, seeing a lot of tennis over a lot of years. He clearly sees some vulnerability in Carlo's game. The game film out now and other guys will adjust their approach going forward.

Hate to say it but has he peaked? Or just been found out because he has a predictable style that can be exploited?
I have a far simpler answer. He's Russian he is cursed with being tempermental. Most of their athletes are bipolar. Once they feel the momentum turning self doubt and negativity creeps into their games and for some reason unable to block it out (maybe due to trauma of parenting and coaching of being too hard when younger.)
