I wish he had a top serve & volley game but I guess it's harder now to be a net player. I remember Rafter being an absolute mad man with it.

He's improved at the net since the last time I've seen him. He's hit some great back hand returns and drop shots at the net. If he can improve to just average at net, man sky is the limit for him

Was just watching Fed vs Novak at Shanghai 2014…shyt brought a tear to my eye to relieve that kind of perfect attacking tennis

Ugh, I miss that so much. My favorite type of tennis. I hate to sound like a "the older days were better" type, but man modern day tennis you are seeing so many players barely have a competent serve game and a sub-par net game. So many missed 1st serves, double faults, breaks of serve multiple times a set, forehand errors, such an eyesore

I like that Carlos has brought back the all court game a bit and it’s made everyone have to include it in their game too. It’s not their strong suit so they hesitate to do it in key moments but only way to master it is repetition.

Hopefully with guys doing it more we get to see some real attacking all court tennis.
