Iga is currently not beating those allegations that she's a 1 dimensional Clay court player, even with the Wimbledon win

See I feel like Aryna's in that situation more than Iga ... Iga has the surface slam and Aryna's gonna be really covering one of the European majors to truly cement herself as a legend on the tour

She’s had a weird ass year. Very bipolar.

It was crazy and one of the reasons I feel like WTA is unequivocally more exciting than ATP rn

Iga bottomed out at Roland Garros, getting served a third set bagel by her biggest rival and going a full year without contesting a major final- And then completely reversed her fortunes in six weeks. Meanwhile CoCo had the biggest win of her career and then three months later people are telling her to take a break and fix her serve :wow:

First two majors are gonna be huge for Iga next year; Australia would give her the Grand Slam, and I know she's got Chrissy Evert's RG record in her sights

Nah...Paolini has to make the most out of her current form as it's probably downhill from here whereas Coco health permitting, has another 10 years.

Yeah I agree, I feel Paolini might have a ceiling. But do you think Paolini is going downhill because she's small in height/stature?

The end is nigh

Djokovic losing in straight sets to Sinner and Alcaraz multiple times this year was a sign

He should just retire now like Sampras did. Where he's still decent to compete on tour, but not completely washed. Because it's going to hurt 100x worse when he starts losing to the youngins like Coboli or Fonseca in the 2nd round of the Australian Open or Roland Garros

Her height definitely limits her but her age (she’s 29) is the bigger factor. She’d been grinding for years and outta nowhere in the last year or 2, became a top 10 player.

She’s gotta a lot of heart and fight, and that can take you far especially on the WTA, but her game lacks true weapons and once she slows down athletically, it’s gonna be curtains. And at 29, that wall is closer than you’d think.
