Rolling year contract isnt that crazy. Individual sports coaches are more independent contractors. So they dont have the guarantees like Team sports coaches would do.

It depends on how much JCF actually did. Its only JCF who has lost his job the rest of the team is still there. So its not like its a complete overhaul. The assistant/second coach who filled in for JCF before can handle the reigns till they either promote him hire a new coach or work alongside a short term consultant like Ferrer or Moya till after the AO.

Yeah what I'm getting from the info is that it was a power dynamic and didn't vibe anymore with JCF being a disciplinarian and Carlos Alcaraz is the boss now
