Thats a massive win :ehh:

Match vs Fils is lowkey huge :ohhh:
Nice to see these kind of guys in a semi final if only a 500

These two have a good deal of potential and hopefully in the years to come will be pushing the likes of Alcaraz and Sinner all the way alongside some others.

I'm more confident in Fils but Mensik definitely has a lot of game, that forehand needs a lot of work though in no way a killer shot.

Listen to Coco Vandeweghe and Kim Clijsters on the latest episodes of their respective podcasts; they both speak on times that they were legitimately injured and faced hefty fines and rankings penalties for skipping 1000s. Coco can prob cope with the fines better now being the highest earning female athlete and all, but skipping multiple 1000s would basically be rankings suicide ... might be worth it if she really backs herself to bag multiple big trophies but its def a risk

As an aside speaking of Coco V: She gotta be one of the most slept on sports women IMO, a legit amazon w/ a cute face :wow:

There are plenty of 500 tournaments she could skip. And there are some that are back to back where she can get 6 weeks off

And if she happens to miss 1 of the 1000 tournaments so be it. By that logic, just show up to nonstop tournaments, wear yourself out, and lose in the 1st round? (Which happened to her before actually)... Should have just missed the tournament altogether then lol

I couldn't watch, only the final score. How the hell did Mensik beat Sinner? :martin:

Great serving, forehand held up enough and won the backhand to backhand exchanges with Sinner. You could also see Sinner panicking cause he couldn't overpower Mensik from the baseline, so he started going for ill-advised dropshots.

How was Sinner's serve in this game, was it consistent/dominant, or was he subpar and Mensik easily returned most of his serves?
