This year it looks like the Middle East swing is becoming ground zero for the schedule controversy

Sabalebka straight up said "That doesn't work for me, brother" for the whole thing, then Iga pulled out of Dubai, then the two finalists from Doha each followed suit and now the tournament ppl are feeling some type of way

I get that the Sheikhs put a bunch of money into WTA, but having two weeks of 1000s right in between Australia and the Sunshine double is kinda crazy

It's insane for the schedule to be that frontloaded with 1000s.
