This year it looks like the Middle East swing is becoming ground zero for the schedule controversy

Sabalebka straight up said "That doesn't work for me, brother" for the whole thing, then Iga pulled out of Dubai, then the two finalists from Doha each followed suit and now the tournament ppl are feeling some type of way

I get that the Sheikhs put a bunch of money into WTA, but having two weeks of 1000s right in between Australia and the Sunshine double is kinda crazy

It's insane for the schedule to be that frontloaded with 1000s.

She's done. Coach swapping isn't it. She needs a team around her for 5 years consistent. She has literally won no tournament since that US Open.
She's brittle and also hugely lacks firepower

She'll never be anything more than a tour padder

Grand opening grand closing with that US Open win, defiiniton of a one hit wonder

Since the big win she's has more coaches than final appearances :why:

Alex Eala bags herself another top 10 win :ehh:

I'll be surprised she doesn't have some kind of breakthrough performance at the majors this year

Goran needs to coach half of the players on tour

Don't want to sound :flabbynsick: but the one thing missing in today's players is a great serve. Courts got slower and so much is a reliance on just long baseline rallies. I can count on 1 hand players who have a consistent serve that they use as a weapon

Good on Arthur Fils
