sometimes the other player is just too good the sport is infuriating to play. for a player like radwanska, every loss she takes is a shot to her own intelligence cuz thats really the only reason why she wins as much as she does...so when its not good enough it can be particularly devastating...but a seasoned vet would just spin it into being, alright i was overwhelmed, whatever. Players like Maria hold onto that bitterness of the loss like anyone else but her tissue-mentality doesnt allow her to break out of a cycle of complete despair against serena. Players like Azarenka (wild confidence) and old crafty vets who take losses but have guile are serena's only chances at losing, ever, until she retires

Serena is just . GOAT for real.

I remember a few yrs back when she had her little slump/chronic injury and was out in Hollywood streets hanging with celebs. I thought it was over for her but she done came back and owns women's tennis now.

I've said this before....

If i understood why women are routinely stubborn despite being repeatedly wrong then id be from venus and not mars
