She has that Mamba Mentality out there; absolute killer.

Edit: Mamba Mentality in the interview too. :russ:

Fernandez? :childplease:

They asked Fernandez the same question. "Are you gonna watch Raducanu and are you inspired by her play?"

Fernandez like, "Well I'm just gonna worry about resting after the match and go to dinner with my family :manny:"

Man Naomi has some soul searching to do because these young'ns are going to be at her neck :picard:
Nah, her peak game is way better as is Andreescu & Swiatek. She just needs to get through what she’s going through.

This final is just indicative of the post Serena era, any one in the Top 100 just needs to get hot and you have a chance at a slam, the established ‘top’ players (Saba, Svit, Plis, Mugu , Kvit amongst others ) are mostly mental midgets

That's on her. It's not up to the fans, other players, media, etc. to pick her up. Everybody's going through shyt in life.

If she needs help, she should step away and get herself together.
I didn't say anyone should pick her up, I'm questioning why you seem to think simply having money solves all problems.

Like I said, strange post.

Because she has an easy out if she's unhappy. If she can't get her mind right with the resources available to her, nothing will. Life is hard and there's a reason they say only the strong survive.

But maybe you're an actual saint and you really are the person to say I made a strange post. Maybe if you had a co-worker who left early in tears on a regular basis because of the demands of the job, while you had to pick up the slack for them, you would support them leaving all the time and tell your boss (or if you are the boss) they should be kept on the payroll for as long as it takes, indefinitely. Maybe when some a$$hole cuts you off, your first instinct is thinking they're having a bad day. When someone is rude to you when you're checking out at a store, instead of being annoyed or upset, you ask them if everything is alright in their life and offer them a hug.

If so, you're a much better person than me. :yeshrug:

Like it doesn't take strength to achieve what she has so far?

Your analogy would perhaps work it this was a team sport but it isn't so she isn't really letting anyone down in the way you're talking about.

Same Raducanu some of your are hyping is the same one that had a panic attack at Wimbledon when the going got tough.

You aren't really telling the whole story either tho are you.
Between her match being 4-5 hours later than it should of been. Going from preparing to play roof off and in daylight to roof on at night and change in the atmosphere. And she was only playing her 3rd tournament of the year.

I agree with your point on her peak game but mentally she's just out of it right now. I don't know if and when she'll shake that off.

100% true. Its happening alot these days. I see alot of people talk about this utopian "what should be", instead of "what it actually is in reality"

To be honest it is mentally easier to fight and want for a Grand Slam that you never had, like when she best Serena for her first title, and then winning 3 more

But to have 4 titles on your resume, and ALSO $30+ mill in endorsements, do you have the mental fortitude to push through that comfort. Now everyone is expecting you to win and won't lots of titles. Every match you lose, you bombarded with 1000s questions about your backhand and how you sucked that night. Hundreds of players game planning against you, etc

If she's not mentally fit for that, then :manny:

besides her mental health, Naomi needs to take time to get back in shape...she took that break earlier this year and blew up

gotta tighten back up to her 2018 size and comeback ready to play like she did to start this year

Hope Novak goes all in tonight. Straight sets.

Crazy to think hes really closer to 21 than Fed and Nadal and he was waaay back at one point.

Took a beating by Nadal last October at FO final, was 3 behind them both then won AO, FO, Wimbledon :wow:
