Damn de Minaur blew that match, I remember the commentator saying he felt it was likely if he couldn't clinch the third set :mjlol:

If Fritz is bombing away, he could give Nadal some problems. I think Sinner needs more experience before he can knock off Djokovic at a Grand Slam.

The Tour needs to speed up the surfaces at the Slams again. They slowed them down in Fed's heyday and they've left them there ever since. It's been well over a decade, which has led to unprecedented dominance from Joker and Nadal. Time to switch it up and give the new blood a chance.

I'm sure this will be dismissed as whining from a Fed stan, and you might be right :ehh: but the men's game is so stagnant right now. It really needs a shakeup.

we're starting to see more net approaches too, so it's not all that bad of a suggestion

but I think is deftly afraid of constant serve & volleying...think of the whole tour being a bunch of Cressy's

Yeah, I don't want the whole tour looking like that but it should be viable for two of the majors (Wimbledon and the US Open). All the best players now are grinders, which makes sense because that's what the surfaces have been tailored for; they should all play differently though.

Guys like Roddikk, Ivanisevic, Krajicek, Safin and Philippoussis have been legislated out. That goon Isner is the last of a dying breed.

Haven't been watching Wimbledon much

Wow, is Nick Kyrios finally fulfilling his potential? :ohhh:

Currently in the quarterfinals with a good chance to make the Finals

Women's game would never recover speeding up the courts. Yall think men play the same? You may have 2 women who slice/drop shot while the rest all just hit behind the baseline with shyt else to do majority of the time.

Sinner unafraid while Djoko in a rut atm.
