To be honest I appreciate all 3. Fed was the first and I never thought anyone would surpass his tally but for Nadal and then Novak to get to 20+ is insane when you think he only had 1 Major when Fed had 16 and has since caught up. All 3 are arguably the greatest tennis players (I would personally put Bjorg in there to). It will be a lifetime debate talking about them and I can't be mad at anyone's preference to them. Like the Montana - Brady debate.

GOAT talk has been so ba$tardized that it's actually no longer interesting to talk about tbh.

I can’t Believe Federrer just sat back and let Nadal and Djokovic surpass him. He was meant to go down as the GOAT and blew it :scust:

Now he’s a distant third :scust:

I watched Novak grow up.
Jelena Genčić, a legendary coach that worked with young kids (including Monika and Jelena Dokić) declaired him to be the greatest talent she saw since Monika.
At the time Novak was just a talented kid at šjor Pilić school.

Later we had two girls, Ana and Jelena, that seemed just as good, if not even better heirs to Monika and Goran than Nole.
Novak seemed to be this goofy player, for several years incapable of winning against the big 2, and destined to be third.

Ana first became more of a model and then retired in 2016.
Jelena stopped playing in 2017, and this year played Wimbledon with retirees.

Novak is still wining slams and eating grass...

(I'll skip the Covid madness.
We had people dying like flies in Serbia, and he could have helped if he got vaccinated...
But it would be silly to blame the problem on a tennis player. It was much bigger than him...)

People that can't see greatness in all three of the Big 3 are idiots.
So is the media that needs to crown a single GOAT, in whatever sport.

Off the court highlight, or
the greatness of Goran (first 25s of this video):

Hoping for a US exemption, it would be good for tennis.
Stumbled upon this today:

Tryna think of the 3 MP's lost against Novak that hurts more for Fed fans:

2010 and 2011 US Open's with Rafa waiting on the other end and 2019

Bonus: 2015 US Open 4th set. Novak serving for the match up 5-4 in the 4th and Fed wasted 3 break points

Definitely 2019 Wimbledon; that was the last hurrah.

2010 US was Joker serving so that's not a given situation. 2011, Joker hit that godly return on 15-40 to keep it alive. An all-time return that was like Thanos' finger snap.

yea 2019 felt like Fed summoned every thing he had left to win that one...you can kinda tell with how his body fell apart after that
