Djoker has a couple more in him
Definitely. I personally think he played badly today, reminded me of Fed playing Nadal and how he wouldn't play to his best against him. Once the 2nd set kicked in and Carlos was fighting Novak couldn't truly keep up and lost some faith in his shots. He felt some pressure today for sure but I can see him winning a couple more over next few years

I been saying that Novak for awhile now has just been trusting these guys (outside of Rafa) to choke in the big points. Carlos for the most part didn't and Novak has to sustain a top level of play for much longer against him than other guys.

That whip on Alcaraz' forehand is spooky. Dude doesn't have much of a wind up but is out here shooting 90mph forehands with ease.

A prime Fed hit those kind of laser forehands as well. Only thing I can see him improve is the inside out shot but otherwise, he can do it all.

Scary hours for the rest of ATP :damn:

Feels like Carlos can hit a winner from anywhere at anytime. The combination of the powerful forhand, Federer like backhand and forehand drop shots from the baseline is just too much:why:Then the foot speed:huhldup:Djokovic always controls the point but he was being pushed around after the first set.

Djokovic had his chances. That point that would have broken Carlos in the 5th set was the point that likely cost him. Got some unfortune on some of those close calls where they had to replay the point that Djokovic likely would have already had if they made the correct call.

Carlos is going to win a LOT of majors if he stays healthy.
