The mixed emotions in this post got me dyingI done seen Novak down two sets, cuss himself out in the bathroom mirror in Serbian, come back out and drown nikkas so many times
I agree though 
The inability of all these generations to take down Djoker is fukkin disgusting

I've been dwelling on something the commentators touched on earlier, and I can already tell it's going to motivate me to win the rest of 2023. They were mentioning how with Novak, it's the ability to suffer that makes him so untouchable. We see it every time and know that's how he plays, but wording it that way is so powerful.The inability of all these generations to take down Djoker is fukkin disgusting
Novak is willing to eat more shyt than everyone else, and he always gets stronger when he's going through it. You can get off when you play him, but until he gets too old you're never going to get Novak without having to go through that dark place first.
That's why the young cats look so woefully inept when it's time to prove it against him. It's a generational difference in mindset. No matter how good the younger players are, they didn't come of age with a mindset that allows them to be as comfortable with discomfort as Novak is.
At the end of the day, Gen Z nikkas are still Gen Z nikkas

Honestly, that's not a positive indictment on Djokovic. It cool to "dig deep" and "go dark" against someone who isn't even in the same stratosphere in talent as you. But it's the benefit of the era he is in. If he played like that in the 90s or 2000s, that is an easy L for him

I don't care much about Joker but I'm not about to do a whole "It's the era" discussion on him. He came up with Fed and Rafa still in their prime and took many slams off them. Fed's early years didn't have the best comp tbh.
