Good performance from Sinner but I don't think it will be enough to beat Alcaraz, he's the heavy favourite for sure.

Have we seen Nadal or Fed go out like this?

You mean like at the 2020 Australian Open where Djokovic packed up Fed in straight sets? :mjlol: . Or 2019 when Nadal packed him up in three sets at the French Open? I don't want to forget him losing three straight set to Tsitsipas at the Australian Open in 2019 as well.:russ:.

At least Djokovic is older and going out against the clear cut top two players in the world. :manny:.

Edit: I like Federer, but his fans can be obnoxious. They border on the likes of LeBron and Kobe stans. At the end of the day, Djokovic is older and going against two future all-time greats that are still very young. Even though it was straight sets, I don't find it embarrassing for him at all.

Sunday should be another classic. We get the two best players in the world going at in, and only about one month removed from their French Open classic.

Sinner is a damn machine that doesn't make the same mistakes that Alcaraz is prone to making, but Alcaraz always has those shots in every match where you have no idea how he did it.

This would be a massive win for Sinner if he can pull it off, especially after what happened at the French Open. I'm hoping for a five set classic, and I believe we will get it.

Sinner in 5:wow:Carlos and Jannik well ahead of the field. If Fritz was younger and had better movement he could really compete, I think Ben Shelton will always be too one dimensional.

Man about to take a 15 minute time out for massage, acupuncture, and prayers
:francis:

This fakkit really gave up smh

Always has an injury excuse when he's losing. That "Djokovic is so mentally tough" mantra has to end. You can't choose when you want to be mentally tough

And Djokovic fans can't use that excuse of age and how he should retire. When he was beating mental midget De Minaur and that 18 yr old Italian, people were saying GOAT this and that. It was all good just a week ago :francis: :mjlol:

For a 38 year old to make it to a grand slam final is a ridiculous feat

Who was attempting that? You think at his age he won't be feeling it the closer he gets to making the final? We're talking best of 5

Be realistic lol

As a fan of the sport, it would make it better for the rivalry if Sinner wins.
As a fan of the sport I'd rather not see someone who got popped for doping win a slam in the same season especially.

if Alcaraz does win though you have to ask what kind of rivalry this is really shaping up to be
