Her speed and defense can’t cover up for technical flaws in her serve and forehand. And now I’m afraid it’s mental too like you noted.

She really needs to sit, work on her technique and probably get a sports psychologist if she doesn’t have one.

Crazy thing is, this is what she needed before the french last season but she then went on to win it which was a gift and a curse as she thought she could continue with her current game play, it kind of makes her FO win impressive because she was double faulting a lot during that period. Her game hasn't really improved and has actually gotten worse overall, she is making to many unforced errors and her serve is not a weapon at all. She can win up to 10 slams it she sorts her serve and unforced errors but that will need a bit of time with her coach and miss some tournaments to correct things.

I know they’re young but i think it’s curtains for Fernandez and Raducanu too

The whole 21 US Open deserves at minimum a lengthy video essay if not a proper documentary

- Biggest outlier/long shot in progress sports in Emma Raducanu, facing another potential Cinderella story in Leylah ... and then they both turned back into pumpkins

- Med's only slam

-Early glimpse of Sabalenka as a contender

- First Carlitos run at a major

He acts like coming to the net would mean he'd get kicked in the balls

He's like an American Rublev but with no emotional issues and a better serve.

Super one dimensional.

Crazy watching Shelton develop more of an all around game in a far shorter time than Fritz has in his whole career
