Everyone at Flow moving over to 98.7?

Okay that makes sense this morning as I had it on 93.5 and there were no hosts. It was just constant songs playing through between 8-930 while I was driving in.

Even the social media stuff looks like they are using all the @935 handles but the actual tune will be 98.7

And that my friends is how you systematically take away black outlets from black owners.

Told black people for years Black stations wouldn't work, Now they own them all.

Saw this coming as soon as they let an Indian guy buy the station.

But 98.7 had problems paying their bills. Hearing the difference in radio ads and you can tell why.

I only listen to 96.3 in the car if I'm not using bluetooth. Quality of ads are night and day. Around tax time especially.

i have no desire to listen to kiddie music and drill. In fact we should be going away from it.

Regardless if Mr. G was mishandling money (which he was), They have been trying to pull the black market away from black owners since the first license was granted. The history of blocking out black radio in Canada (Mostly Toronto) is deep.

This is going to be the future black radio in Toronto? I'd rather keep getting ripped off by Marvette Gordon.

nikka is being a petty bytch since he’s been taking L’s with his party. Like the truckers are on the road almost 24 hrs a day. The practically live in there trucks so they ain't going anywhere anytime soon.

i remember when flow got rid of Spexx Dr Jay Devo Brown and all of them way back when, I knew the station would go to shyt. It came back a top 40 station and slowly migrated to playing “urban” music.

even with the most recent hosts, that shyt wasn’t catering to black culture or people, they just happened to check off boxes.

i remember when flow got rid of Spexx Dr Jay Devo Brown and all of them way back when, I knew the station would go to shyt. It came back a top 40 station and slowly migrated to playing “urban” music.

Bigger than that.

It's virtually impossible to get a license to own a radio station do to limitation in frequency. The only way to get one is a current owner has to sell it to you AND the Government (CRTC) must approve the transaction and program format.

They have been blocking black people from owning licenses since the late 80's. The reason we got Flow 93.5 was to avoid a discrimination lawsuit. Once they saw how popular the market was, White interest buys it out. They fumble the format because they don't know jack shyt black music.

Then they rebranded Vibe105 and basically copied G98.7 but with a bigger budget from "Donors". This was an undercut G98.7, why did the CRTC allow that?

Now the Indian guy that knows nothing about Black Music, buy the license and leases the airwaves to the competition Stingray Radio? Does this make any sense?

Their will probably be an Indian FM station in a year or two.

The federal government is close to removing mandatory PCR testing for fully vaccinated Canadians who travel outside Canada, sources tell CBC News.

Currently any person who travels outside the country must provide proof of a negative molecular test (such as a PCR test) prior to returning home. The test must be taken within 72 hours of scheduled departure on a flight or arrival at a land border.

At a news conference on Friday, Health Minister Jean-Yves Duclos hinted at revisions coming to Canada's travel rules. "Our government is actively reviewing the measures in place at our borders, and we should be able to communicate changes on this next week," he said.
