money is only half the equation for blacks, white society still plays the race game whether we have the money or not. our only real hope at parity is group economics. blacks stores, black client base. end of story. gov't around the world continue and will continue to make blacks an underclass through policies. there's historical precedent to that fact and current sentiment -- the fact that blacks are the only ones never to have got reparations should be telling for us but some of us just don't seem to understand.
Yup 100%, here's the sad thing. Here in Ottawa, the only black business you'll see or hear about involves parties, or food. Hopefully the next generation coming up do something different.
Help me understand this, we have a west indian restaurants here that's not open on Sunday and Monday then opens Tuesday @ 12pm for 6 hours.... And i think it's the only west indian spot in the south-end of the city. Maybe because of COVID, Idk man.
It's a popular spot too, there's no competition close by, but in the same area you'll have 10 shawarma spots that are open 12hrs 7days a week. Even during Ramadan and Eid, the shops are still open.
....we're just getting started,we'll be looking at the current prices like they were the good ole days..
