Just moved out to Toronto this month.. It's actually not as cold out here as I thought it would be. I live 30 seconds away from the ACC. Only Raptors games I caught was the 76ers :scust:.

I spent the last couple months living in South America and the Caribbean so Im having a hard time enjoying Toronto so far

What are some good spots to eat out here? I've only been to a bit of King and Queen street and Kensington. I dont start work til Feb and Im already kind of bored out here after two weeks.

This is the mildest winter in years two years ago this time , it was ice storm like -30 with no electricity

Cn tower
Aquarium
Zoo
Rom
Lakeshore
Dave and busters

I don't really mess with downtown eatery but the brehs here can help you out.

Eglinton west, get a Randy's patty the goat in the city

If you have a car weather is still nicr a hour and a 20 min gets you to the falls

Can hop on the via rail to Montreal esp since you have no work till Feb, can get cheap tickets during the week.

Nothing like goatcouver though, I rembrr when I could get a round trip from yyz to yvr for 5 bills now the prices are insane :wow:

It's fukking stupid. I flew to South America from Toronto for the same price as flying from Vancouver to Toronto. I've been to Earls and Cactus out here just because my boys are head chefs at those spots. Food is Average but the girls are fine. I'm going to Montreal first week of January for a week. I honestly hate how expensive it is in Toronto and Vancouver. Im taking spanish lessons so I can eventually move to South America in a couple of years. Im out here til May at least though so I want to make the best of it. Thanks for the suggestions and let me know if you can think of anything else. I might go out to the falls for Christmas since all my family is back in Van.

Cool, everytime I go to eat I end of at a place I don't really like. I love to eat out I just need to find some good food and the people I know out here dont really eat out like that.

I paid 750/ for 7 nights all inclusive at a 4 stat resort in cuba.

Last time I went to Vancouver in may I paid 540 in airfare alone and was dishing out 150 a night for a hotel

And buffalo to Seattle same distance you can get for like almost half the price

And yeah Toronto is crazy expensive just like Vancouver, Montreal is at least affordable.

My gf is Nigerian one day I may just head down there

I still say Vancouver is ten times better than Toronto, better atmosphere more to do, big city but small city feel. Toronto just has more black people although in some locations there non existent.

Can get a cheap flight from Porter from the island to new Jersey if you want to go to NYC for a weekend.

When it starts to snow blue mountain is aiight

Metrotown takes a dump on any Toronto mall but sherway is aiight.

Toronto sucks in the winter

Especially people in downtown I could be wrong

The outskirts of Toronto not bad
Niagra
Burlington
Etc

NYC Dallas etc you could live in the burbs and party midtown and people won't look down on u lol
I live at downtown (fort york area) and I don't think downtown dwellers are the problem. Most of the people that live around here are actually mad cool...What ruins the scene is the out of towners and the geeks that come from outside of the downtown core in my opinions. I go to lesser known places around downtown, the lounges, hotel bars, and maybe clubbing on the big nights in the summer.
