they all want to live in the city, and the average monthly rent that new condo renters are willing to pay in the last 5 years is $1800

Man you know how many dumb out of town hipsters and foreign students residing in those condo towers are getting mommy and daddy to fork over the rent. Plenty. Just like in NY and inflating the renter's market.

Kitchener got a few lil spots but coming from Toronto it's gonna be a major downgrade

Depends what nights you trynna go out. Usually thursday and fridays are poppin. Starlight or beta night club are good on fridays. Thursday brixton social club is poppin.

Depends on what you like. They got bowling and laser quest like everywhere else. I've hung out there a few times when I was that way. As far as clubs/bars there's Pearl, Phils, Brixton, Starlight, and Flying Dog. Also in Guelph(15 minutes) there's ALL the spots downtown

Financial companies are down there? I thought it was just start ups. I'm going on job search soon so I might look for gigs down there also although I don't want to leave TO if I can help it feel me.
