This country is so pathetic, and the populace who voted for Liberals are the dumbest motherfukkers in it.
I know people losing their jobs in the Brampton plant shut down. They are all cursing Carney’s name and Liberal voters. Whole families now about to lose their homes.
We were made fun off for wanting to vote for Pierre who could have gave us a fighting chance because he wanted to work with the americans. USA and China have a fukking deal and we don't. Carney was elected by these dummies to have a deal with Trump by July 21st/2025 it is now the end of October/2025, there is no deal, tarrifs are about to be raised again, and companies are quietly leaving the Canadian market
Where are all those snarky fakkits who thought it was sweet voting in Liberals for the past 10÷ years? Go tell the families suffering, and kids with no jobs, it was a good choice.

The Bank of Canada cut its benchmark interest rate by 25 basis points to 2.25% on Wednesday, bringing rates down for the second consecutive meeting amid mounting economic headwinds. Governor Tiff Macklem said the move reflects “ongoing weakness in the economy and contained inflationary pressures,” as Canada grapples with the fallout from escalating US protectionism.
In its October Monetary Policy Report, the central bank projected that Canada’s GDP would grow just 1.2% in 2025, followed by a modest 1.1% in 2026 and a slight pickup to 1.6% in 2027. The Bank warned that the domestic economy is undergoing more than a cyclical slowdown, describing the situation as “a structural transition” driven largely by persistent trade conflicts with the United States.

I'm still struggling to get my wife a visa to come to Canada while our sponsorship application is processing yet they make it so easy for Indians and Ukrainians .

I feel attitude towards these causes is much different. when a natural disaster happens in other regions you see many posts about people saying pray for ____ However, with this hurricane it doesn't feel there's much talk and not many sharing links to donate. I will be watching CP24 and it feels like they're barely covering it. However, they covered other natural disasters with more depth. That hurricane is just sad because there's many people in the GTA with family there. Luckily, mine is doing okay, but this def hits close to home for many.

Honestly, that's the issue because people love Jamaican culture, but won't show up when it matters. I know many don't like him but a guy like Drake who profited off the culture could do a lot if he brought awareness. I'm not going to pocket watch, but having a celebrity of his stature bring awareness means more people will look into it. I feel there's many celebrities like that, but of course they would remain quiet.
I just checked Trudeau's twitter and not even a mention about it. However, he'll most likely mention it if it happens to a different nation I bet.
