Peel police recently announced that an arrest warrant has been issued for a suspect wanted in connection with an attempted murder in Brampton.
Officers are appealing to the public for help in locating 32-year-old Andre Martin. Police allege that Martin is connected to a shooting that took place on Sunday, June 4 in the Ebenezer Road and The Gore Road area.
Martin is described as a 5'11" black male who is 170 pounds with a thin build. He has a small tattoo on his left cheek, and a tattoo on the right side of his neck.
Investigators believe that Martin is potentially armed and dangerous, as he recently had a handgun.
Police are asking anyone who sees him to not approach and call 9-1-1.
Anyone with information regarding the location of Martin or the investigation is asked to contact investigators at the 21 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau at (905) 453-2121, ext. 2133. Information may also be left anonymously by calling Peel Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477), or by visiting www.peelcrimestoppers.ca or by sending a text message to CRIMES (274637) with the word "PEEL" and then your tip.
