Wasn't the pool party that Lebron and co were at private? Like you needed an invite to get in? Me and my girls are trying to get in. Btw, what other parties are there this weekend up until Monday evening that are poppin?
nah it was $60 for tickets but they sold out almost instantly. I think the people that were at the French Montana event next door at REBEL got to stroll in afterwards. tbh, Lebron's Cabana Pool Party was the main jam, and more than likely will be for Caribana every year. there was another day jam the previous day but I can't remember the name atm but it was live

Maison Mercer got a jam tonight, I think the promoter for the annual Lebron thing is running that too so it should be lit. same time Baka Not Nice got some Allstar Party thats been promoted heavy these last two months so that might be the move - especially considering he got one of the biggest tunes out right now. you can bet that since theres no OVOfest Sunday that this might be the filler

Monday, don't know. tryin to find a dope boat cruise jam but that`ll probably be an end of the month thing

I just found out that there are many more parties happening until Tuesday night. Monday, the official Ovo fest after party and Fabulous is also throwing a party that same night at 'Same' nightclub.

I'm sorry but this has to stop.

@thatknickfan You gotta agree almost 2000 refugees a week is absurd

City of Montreal says between 250 and 300 people are now crossing the Canada-U.S. border to seek asylum every day, up from 50 per day in the first half of July.

Many of those crossing the border, like 32-year-old Adline Tidas, are of Haitian descent.

In the United States, the Trump administration is considering ending a program that granted Haitians so-called “temporary protected status” following the massive earthquake that struck Haiti in 2010.

Tidas said she had been living in Ft. Lauderdale since 2009 but left the United States last week because she feared being sent back to her home country.

“The government gave an extension of eight months, and I don’t want to go back to Haiti,” she said near the stadium.

She said conditions in the shelter were good and she was feeling optimistic about her future.

“(Canada) looks like a good place, I’m supposed to be here,” she said.

“Right now, anything I can do to work, I will do it. But my dream is, I want to be a nurse, to help people because people helped me.”

Several in the crowd said they had come to Canada as immigrants themselves and wanted to show their support for the newcomers.

“I have a standard of living that is very high because this country accepted me, and I wish it for others as well,” said 22-year-old Alexis Audoin, who was born in France

Denis Coderre, the mayor of Montreal, helped Baby Doc find refuge in France so it's his fault

You're acting like it's a resettlement program. People are crossing a huge border and making refugee claims afterwards. They won't all be accepted. The levels ebb and flow and will slow down again like in Manitoba.

Happy that this thread is being upped because I'm in Toronto right now.

Would like to know where the vinyl record stores are at if they still exist. I been to the Eaton center mall already. I'm actually one block from there. Thinking about going to the Toronto zoo today. Was at the cn tower at nighttime last night.

Okay thats cool. Does the train go out there? I don't mind walking. Need the exercise.

I'm surprised that you guys currency value went down to ours. That and a lot of stores that were here 10 years ago are long gone like hmv and the world's largest book store. Is your city going through financial crisis or something? It doesn't look that active man then again yesterday was a holiday
