Canadian street or hood rap is laughable. They think they lil boosie, meek mill, lil durk, lil reese, fredo santana 50 cent or 21 savage but Canadian cities are elementary school status when you compare it to the real nature of grimy US ghettos.


In québec we have the same problem. Either them wanna be thugs copy french street rap from France or US hood rap.

mostly every hood(metro housing) in toronto is a stone throw away from million dollar houses or a swanky condo.

Montreal has been ridiculously safe and it keeps getting safer. We had less murders than Ottawa last year too. Philadelphia is about the same size and has over 150.
