Yes Brown Town/Bramladesh were the common nicknames. Glad I'm out of there (9 years was far too long), and back where I belong in the city.

Just need to get Moms out of there next.

I need to get my winter wheels/tires on the S4, but I left them at my Mother's in B-Town since I have nowhere to store them in this condo. I ain't trying to risk driving on slicks if this freezing rain/storm hits overnight :sadcam:

the houses in my area are predominately 2-3000 sq. feet with brown people living in almost every other household. Besides me and this chic I went to high school with down the street everyone in my neighbourhood is brown. It's surprising how a nikka can't speak punjabi yet :russ:
My parents still live in Brampton. They're in the M section...a mix of people...hardly any East Indians in their neighbourhood. You go up to Springdale though and it's all South Asian.

I was thinking about moving to B town a while back, I have a condo in Sauga right across the street from square one, but I am running our of room and the housing in this part is crazy, $700 000+ for a detached 4 bedroom

And that's the thing with Brampton. An equivalent home would be a few hundred Gs less - in some cases. With the same money the home would be immensely larger.

I owned a condo at dundas n hurontario behind the go station like 7 years ago when I almost got married.

Made a profit at least

Housing is expensive all over the place, especially if you have a family

I know, but I am literally across the street from SQ1, city hall and they are building new condos like crazy so the value of my property is going up. I just wish sauga wasn't so expensive.

the two condos with the green trim? My condo is valued at $300k, got it in 06 for $190k. I'm going to hold onto it as they are building around 10 more condo's in this area plus they are putting up a **** Renfew at Square One so that will do nothing but increase the property value.

Yep. Nah, not in their neighbourhood - I've seen at most two families. Their immediate neighbours are a mix of Czech, Italian, Cuban, Polish, Venezuelan, Canadian.

I don't want to move back to Brampton. I'm moving soon to Queen West, so looking forward to that. I'm not married with kids, so I don't need a big house at this point in my life.
