Even if it's top of the l ine snow tires, all seasons are better in the rain on the avg. Snow tires are designed for SNOW which is more solid and slick, not the rain. Rain is more liquid so it will not wick as well with snow tires as with all season.

Well if you only have them on 3 months out of hte year then yeah they last, but they still wear out fast. Keep them on most of the year and see what happens.

My original point was that they should NOT be mandated because alot of people(like students) can not afford to purchase $500 to over 1K tires just to have on temporarily.
It should remain an OPTION

They should be mandated for safety purposes, even in bc they are mandated if you drive on the highway in winter.

if you cant afford 500 for a set of tires every 4 yeasr then you shouldnt be driving

do you know how many students need a car?

seasonal workers? single parents? So many people commute to school and work

Not everyone has a decent full time job and these days full time professionals there can barely afford to live life without a roomate.

these all or nothing comments sound stupid. I was in school in ONtario before and had an old car. I heard a radio show where some guy who sounded like you(might be you lol) said they should be mandated. I was pissed because I wasn't working full time(u know they limit your work hours) and did not live on a bus route. I needed the part time job and I need to get to school.


Its as bad as saying if you don't have money you shouldln't date when most of the world lives off less than $5 a day.

Not much, but we're gonna make some bread in 2018
I think im gonna sign up for individual etfs thru vanguard next year, my brother in law told me they're launching tfsa for personal investors and fees are like 2% and they rebalance everything for you

There's a etf that has all of the marijuana stocks out there, think I'm gonna invest in that etf

Forget the name of that canadian company that deals with auto point of sale interactions, but I heard their stock is a good one to invest in
