if you bought a condo or house during the late nineties early 2000's you are caking when you sell now

As a single person i've given up the dream of home ownership in toronto
even bum ass scarborough where i lived as a kid old ass 40 year old bungalows are now 700k
. Parents bought thier first home for 149kI've been hearing for years about the market tanking every year it goes up and up
soon its going to be like vancouver, every house worth a mill, every condo like 500k and up
at least rent is still cheap for now
1982 it was 20%, 1990 13.5%, 2000 8 percent
2014 its like 2.89%
people would be f'd at 8 percent, but just imagine if it ever went back to 20%
its funny and makes you realize how big toronto is, that even with all the black people you see we are still only 8 percent of the population.
Vancouver a city of nearly 2.5 mill has only 45,000 black folks just a little over 1 percent.
once you leave big cities in canada your on your OWN as a black person, i got a call back for a job in moose jaw saskatchewan it has 0.01% black folks , 35,000 population = 3 black people

I used to date a girl in prince edward county, small hick towns like belleville, picton , napanee dirt cheap, all the houses are cheap and the land is big. Many people there drive into toronto for work every day taht 2 hour drive :kony:
if you could work from home like many jobs allow you to do its a great life.

true man. i just came back from a trip in the states, and it made me appreciate toronto a lot more. i wish we had more black people here though. that's really the only thing the states has over canada / toronto / gta at the moment.
Breh I almost got married to a pawg in Bruce county 3 hrs from Toronto crib paid for and a job working with FAM clearing 100k in the oil business and I bailed. I'm not built for that small town life. Y'all can call it ducktales but this was a 4 year relationship deaded on the basis I can't live in some backwoods ass town where cacs stare at me everywhere I go.
If y'all bout that life go for it. Personally my comfort level was not all the way there and let's not get started on up north winters. I'd rather struggle in the city for now at least I enjoy living here.
