everything that is happening has been projected since March. there's no surprises. the second wave was right on time and it will be slow winter. and another slow spring or summer until the vaccines happen.

dudes are not registering this fully....

People don't understand, I work in healthcare winter and the flu season is disastrous like patients waiting in the hallway type, now to add covid:hubie:

we lost a lot of small businesses. I know people who barely made it through and they wont survive another lockdown. the Ontario government knows that. bars are getting the worst of it because they are not strictly compliant but restaurants and barbershops, salons etc wont survive another lockdown. salons and barbers especially were one of the last to get an opening pass.

Yeah which is why the government are not doing lockdowns, no money to give anymore so instead you do blabbering doug ford doing just "restrictions"

now only 100 people can be in a restaurant at a time even though restaurants have been dead in door dining wise for a long time.

The province is taking steps to try to reduce the spread of COVID-19 as Ontario hits a record number of daily cases.

Premier Doug Ford announced on Friday that the mandatory mask policy would be extended across the entire province.

That change comes into effect at 12:01 a.m.

Ford also announced the restaurant capacity would shrink in both Ottawa and Peel Region to try to help stop the spread of the virus. The capacity will now be 100 people, with no more than six people per table.

Toronto previously announced that it would be lowering restaurant capacity to 75.

Gyms will also now be limted to 50 people and with a limt of 10 people per class.

Banquet halls and event facilities will now have a capacity of 50 people and, like restaurants, six people per table.

Social circles have also been officially put on hold, with the Premier now advising that all Ontarians allow close contact only with people living in their own household and maintain physical distancing from everyone else.

Individuals who live alone may consider having close contact with one other household.

This is a bunch of nothing

Same breh so many great people with amazing businesses went under

shyt is sad :smh:

My church is barely hanging on by a thread. Just a small church and landlord never budged on the rent even though building has not been used for months and months. Restaurants I already mentioned how I ate out at a pop restaurant at yonge and sheppard was 4 people inside on a friday night, you go to the mall dead inside

tough days ahead for real

Cant have that though. Another lockdown will be much more deadly than the virus itself. More businesses will shutter and suicides will sky rocket, hell, they have been since COVID.

I’d hate to be the one having to make these decisions but unless the government is prepared To hand out billions to folks at home and businesses, can’t be another lockdown.

Question tho. We’ve seen cases go up but how are deaths being tracked? I’m hearing very little about deaths

Majority cases under 40
They just need to make sure no outbreaks in longterm homes to avoid death

Deaths won’t show for like 2-3 weeks
Most ppl under 40 will be young

Can’t afford another lockdown. We had our chance and fukked that up. Just gotta try to ride it out and be safe rn. Ppl need to wear their masks honestly and avoid parties.

RIP to the food and hospitality industry. I’m considering stacking up to open a business once things go back to normal in a couple years

Lemme tell u...as a socially active breh...it’s A LOT of brehs and crehs having house parties since we entered stage 3. A LOT. If anything is the culprit my guess is that it’s the house parties. This shyt is very contagious. You just gotta be in the same unventilated room with someone else who has it to catch it. I have attended one indoor gathering since March and I was cheesed it even happened cuz I was led to believe my lil work dinner with six ppl was gonna be on the patio. But I personally know brehs who been to large indoor gatherings over the past two months. :stopitslime:

Regional shutdowns coming I bet
Toronto, peel, ottawa :beli:

Wouldn't be surprised. The amount of people I saw downtown today not wearing masks, all these schools I passed by had kids mingling maskless during lunch time :scust:

Nobody enforcing shyt at these schools, truly pathetic
