Anyone go to the Caribana? :lupe:

Haven't been there in years, couldn't handle the loud music considering my family likes to go near the damn parade route

i did create a thread about it, and yeah thast why many other races are ahead. I mean dude was a rapper had the flyest gear from his videos etc. but didn't think it was wise to pay like 25 a month for a insurance policy. You never know when its your time to go. I remember my dads friend who was a financial advisor died years ago of a hear attack in his 40s, he had two kids and a wife each got a million dolllars each.

the younger you are the cheaper the premiums. I'm not married nor do I have kids now but if anything were to happen to me now my whole family will be eating.

@MVike28 arent you in insurance?

A milly each? :ohhh:

I never spoke about this topic before but coincidentally a month ago my boy brought the topic up. Said this one cat got 80 bands when his family member died. 80 thou and a milly is a large difference but still a lot nonetheless

Two questions

1. If the payouts are so large, why don't man people sign up for it? This scenario seems like a perfect example

2. You got the full payout at once or spread out over time?

1. In black folks case it just hasn't caught on. A lot of people living check to check as well, probably couldn't fathom paying for something they'll personally never benefit from (since they'll have to die..)

2. I believe the payments would always be lump sums, if not, policies are structured on an individual basis.

Muzik nightclub shooting leaves two dead, multiple injured | Toronto Star

A man and woman in their 20s and 30s are dead after a morning shooting near Muzik nightclub.

The incident started inside Muzik nightclub shortly before 3:30 a.m., police told media on scene. One or two people were shot at the bar before the shooting spilled out onto the street, police said. Paramedics confirm that one person was pronounced dead on scene. Police say the second person was pronounced dead in hospital.

Three males were also seriously injured and taken to hospital. Police believe that there may be more victims and encourage them to come forward.

According to police there are three crime scenes including Muzik nightclub, north of the club, and south-west of the club.

Muzik is located at 15 Saskatchewan Rd. near the Dufferin entrance of the Canadian National Exhibition grounds. Police have closed all roads surrounding the area.

The OVO Fest official after party hosted by Drake was held at Muzik on Monday night. Police say that the shooting took place as the event was wrapping up.

Few details are available at this time. Police are on scene and investigation is ongoing.

Witnesses are urged to contact Division 14 police at 416-808-1400 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 416-222-8477.
