don't know what to think of this...

they had some good amount of work on them lol, she talking about she don't feel comfortable riding with a black man in care now... cringe worthy

then there's this " 'There is nothing illegal, unusual or suspicious about a driver not matching the description of a registered owner,' Charney wrote." That kind of opens the door to a lot. I like it. lol

ultimately, their lawyer must be well connected to succeed on the basis that they had no reason to be pulled over in the first place. how many people get profiled and still catch them drug charges?

This has nothing to do with their lawyers being connected, if anything, their lawyers aren't even all that. The amount of work they had was asscheeks lol.

Section 7 of the Charter states "Everyone has the right to life, liberty and security of the person and the right not to be deprived thereof except in accordance with the principles of fundamental justice."

Whereas Section 8 of the Charter states "Everyone has the right to be secure against unreasonable search or seizure".

People get stopped for racial profiling on a DAILY BASIS. Deep down inside they stopped you cause you're a young black cat driving a beamer who's record show's you've been arrested for a gun before. That's not a reason to stop you.

However, these cops who testify on the stand are much better now than before. They'll lie and make up some shyt like "he made an illegal turn and when I approached the vehicle it reeked of marijuana so it gave us grounds to search the vehicle" or "I observed a the driver make a hand to hand exchange with an unknown male through the car window that lasted seconds. An amount of money was exchanged"

Lawyers will usually attacks the cops on how they fabricated that. Then it's up to the judge to decide.

There's nothing precedent setting in this case at all. Drugs, guns, etc get excluded all the time. Except in this case, it was blatantly obvious the cop was stupid that's why it made the news. He literally said "I thought she was an escort and he was her pimp because it was an interracial couple and they were leaving a motel known to prostitution". That's retarded. I bet even his colleagues are looking at him like :stopitslime:"Really fukkhead, you couldn't think of saying some shyt like he bytchslapped her and you had reason to stop them".

The most conservative judge would have excluded the evidence in this case.
