few months ago a house would go up in my area and in a few days be gone

now houses been up for weeks no offers, no nothing.

House (semi) on my street sold for $850 in March.

Comparable semi about 10 houses down listed in May at $800, dropped to $750 in June....still on the market

Yeah it's crazy now, but it's the best time to buy if you can. Same thing happened in Vancouver last year after the 15 percent tax and now a year later Vancouver prices have never been higher even with the 15 percent hike and interest rate hike.
