They need to open more service Ontario centres I lost my driver's license so had to get a new one place opened 9am I went there 830 and there were already 70 people ahead of me waiting.
Shout out to the Brampton stretch of Steeles Avenue for always having some kind of damn accident that more often than not involve Brown drivers
As I work in for one of the biggest hospitals in Toronto.
A one day stay in a hospital costs an average hospital just for the bed 1,500
A dr bills the government 40 dollars on average for every patient they see, why when you go to some drs there's ten people there with the same appt time
Each hospital gets a lump sum from the government dependong on location, size , catchment area etc.
Hospital foundations, inpatient stays where patients have insurance (semi private, private)
Ohip charges for x-rays, ultrasounds, cts,
Waive
Ifh
Casts
And their respective foundation are extras
Even with that most hospitals are in a deficit
Nurses salaries make up like 50 percent of the average hospital budget
Without a Ohip your screwed, even just going to emerge your setting yourself back 7-800 at most hospitals
Hospitals love when non residents have babies at their hospitals, on average the fee for one night is 3,500
If you take a ambulance your charged 45, whether you called for it or not.
Why does it take so long in emerge?
Average emerge department sees about 100-150 patients per day and there's usually only 3-4 drs per shift
A emerge dr will spend more time charting than the amount of time they spend with you.
Drs love referring you because they can bill Ohio extra for a referral.
It's cool working in a hospital but there's so much politics, money is hard to come by, unions ona (Ontario nurses union) are so powerful
