Pedestrian fatally struck by vehicle on McCowan Road

What's with all of these drivers hitting pedestrians in Scarborough

A pedestrian has been pronounced dead on scene after they were struck by a vehicle in Scarborough on Thursday night, paramedics say.

It happened on McCowan Road south of Steeles Avenue at around 9:45 p.m.

Paramedics say that bystanders initially attempted to revive the victim, who was without vital signs.

What's with all of these drivers hitting pedestrians in Scarborough

One of the biggest things I hate seeing are grown ass parents jay walking with their kids. Do that shyt on your own but don’t be doing that shyt with kids. People can’t drive in Scarborough as is much less at night on that busy ass street...

The weird part is that the McCowan/Steeles intersection is not busy at all after 8 pm, there's little to no cars there after 8 pm. There's crosswalks everywhere, there's nowhere to jaywalk to once you pass Alton Towers Circle. I'm so perplexed how all of this happened
