The wealth inequality in Toronto is downright disgusting. Since, unemployment running out, evictions. People with no food, home, or job have nothing to lose. People aren't gonna take this lightly yikes.

I've already seen so many former office spaces, businesses, restaurants up for lease its a new day

I actually wonder how they will implement the vaccine and force everyone to take it.
For sure students will have to unless they never want to attend school again.

But, adults? Hmmm.

I wonder if it's legal to mandate a vaccination for the renewal of a OHIP health card or something.

I wouldn't put it past the government to implement that.

the thing is about this vaccine is that there are different strains of covid, just like we have hep a,b,c. Secondly even if this vaccine "works" how long will it work for? people who have antibodies are losing them.

as well there are always complications from everything, just like how some people get covid and all they get is a cough or a sniffle and others die or are in icu.

so for the vaccine you'll be injected with weakened or killed forms of covid they will try and frame it like the "measles/rubella vaccine"

Well chicken pox vaccine took 5 years to develop in the 70s and the fda never approved it till 1995

Besides the US and a few other dumb countries, I think we are better equipped to combat it. Many will be WFH and wearing masks. Should be able to better combat it in the fall than when OVID first started. Just keep the border closed and get contact tracing popping.

The US is a concern though.

Suspect sought following shooting, carjacking in Mississauga - CityNews Toronto

Peel police are searching for one suspect after a shooting and carjacking in Mississauga.

Police say the suspect opened fire on officers near the intersection of Burnamthorpe Road and Confederation Parkway around 7 p.m.

The suspect then commandeered a vehicle which contained a child.

Eyewitness video sent to CityNews appears to show the moment of the carjacking. In it, two people are forced out of a black pick up truck which then speeds away.

“Police, police, police,” someone is heard yelling as officer’s who were at one end of the street begin to converge on the scene.

“My daughter is in the car! My daughter is in the car,” a visibly upset man is then heard yelling as at least a half dozen police cars go chasing after the vehicle. “Please stop this guy.”

Officers say they caught up with the vehicle almost five kilometres away at Eglinton Avenue and Creditview Road, where the suspect abandoned the car and fled on foot.

Police say the child was found unharmed. She has since been reunited with her family.

A significant search is underway and police have requested aerial support from York Region.
