where's all this disposable income that should be spent on other Canadians coming from? why not just relocate them to other parts of Europe?
I hate performative politics like this. How about you call on the federal government to get pipelines built so we don't have to import russian oil and finance Putin's crimes? That would actually do something. We're the third biggest oil producer in the world. It's insane that we prop up these murderous regimes by buying their oil.

sometimes i think the financial system here is why we can't seem to maneuver in the interests of all canadians with something as sensible as our own pipeline and cheaper gas.
the world needs an overhaul. every country ought to be able to prop up their own currency with their resources. this current system is the reason for this chaos.
