What's the problem here? The last 2 years we went from 0% capped increase to 1.2% capped increase to 2.5% which is way under inflation. Folk want landlords to supply rental housing while bleeding out.

I am, but the government has always decided on rental hikes being on par with inflation. Inflation is not 2.5%...not even close. This again will impact renters negatively.
