Maybe maybe not
Fido doesn’t have 5g yet but Roger’s does
It's going to be a long time from what I've heard. The big 3 don't want to provide 5G to their secondary brands because cost wise they don't spend as much as they do on primary providers. They want consumers to pay the big 3 premium to have access to it. It's a shame too because before 5g the coverage was nearly identical for the most part

Nah July

Public mobile (bell) has 5g plans

August
Koodo has 5g plans (Telus)

Robbers is the only one who hasn’t brought 5g over to their secondary as of yet

I’ve been with fido since 2006 but once my contract is up in March I’m gone

lol well damn, I remember hearing that early this year, but didn't realize all of them are implementing except Rogers. Yeah, they're stingy with network coverage and lack innovation. I am only with them due to an employee discount

Plans have gotten cheaper but still outrageous but you can get like 20 gigs for 30-40 dollars at any phone company nowadays

But yeah they stingy fido used to be the goat with fido dollars

Best is always to see if your current company will match or have a sweet deal. Like some people are paying like 30 a month for 20 gigs if not then byod (bring your own device)

Koodo 20 gb for 39
public mobile 20 gb for 39
Fido 20 gb for 39
Virgin 20gb for 39

All are 4g plans

For 5g

Public mobile 45 dollars gets you 30gb. I hope this plan is still available in March as I’ll hop over

If you have internet with say robbers

5G Mobile 50GB you can get for 55 a month

Doesn't Telus has a group plan deal on rfd? It's like 100 GB a month for $40 if you have 6 or more, free Motorola edge, $15 extra for Google pixel 7

Never saw that :ehh:

For once I'm not getting caught up in these phone hustles, ive been paying like almost 40 a month for a iphone 13 on top of a 50 dollar 20 gb plan for more than a year and a half. I'll stick with this phone till apple stops updates
