-homeless population increased
-protests can no longer happen near schools
-housing still a crisis (avg rent and home prices dropped recently tho)

In March 2025, the unemployment rate for youth (15-24 years old) in Toronto was 16.4%. This is up from 15.5% in February 2025. The unemployment rate for all youth (15-24) in Ontario was 15.8% in April 2025, according to YCharts. The Toronto Foundation reports that youth unemployment in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) rose significantly from 13.2% to 19.8% between January and July 2024.
