I've been seeing this planet rendering tech from
various developers on the internet. So it's cool to see it in an actual
game release, with procedural content no less!

nah there was plenty of fukkery in the show. joel mchale gaves no fukks and dissed and prodded developers whenever he got the chance. when the show first started i thought he was trying too hard but later on it dawned on me he just drunk and didn't give a fukk.

The best part about this is how they nailed the animation of the pose. Out of all the parodies of the original, Naughty Dog is the only one that got it right.

It seems like Geoff tries to pander to the NeoGAF crowd while Spike TV brings in people that cater to casuals. I know this show is just a marketing tool and these awards don't mean anything, but they just need to have Geoff talking to developers and handing out awards and showing trailers without using "celebrities" and "humor."

Minecraft is procedural

it's a good way to make an infinitely large map/world/universe. when dude said all the stars in the sky were stars with planets orbiting them, that you could go to, I kinda bugged

yeah there aren't to many games taking advantage of procedural
content and the few games that do are usually independent titles.
I'm glad to see it's coming to the ps4.
