As noted, Sasha Banks was removed from WWE live event listings until mid-September after unexpectedly losing the WWE Women's Title to Charlotte at SummerSlam tonight.



The title loss has been planned for about a week or so, according to PWInsider, and was done because Sasha needs some time off to recuperate from nagging injuries.
To kill some of the rumors going around, Sasha is not suspended and was not injured during the match, she just needs time off to heal up. She's currently scheduled back at the September 23rd live event in Moline, Illinois.

So why put the belt on her in the first place

Yeah, and they booked around it. If they were going to suspend Cesaro they would've had Sheamus injure him badly or something else to cut off the Best-of-Seven series, unless they really just plan to continue it a full month from now.

So why put the belt on her in the first place

She will be gone for a month. Let Charlotte kayfabe injure her and keep it moving. Or better yet, make it a sneak attack and make everyone think Charlotte did it but it was Nia doing it for the Rock. There was no need for a title switch
