Have you tried syncing the controllers to the system?
There's a little button on top of the controller, as well as one on the xbox, you push those and they should sync and then it should work.

Been playing my day1 edition since 2pm. No issues with voice, no issues with disk drive, after about 15 mins installing Forza I was able to play while it finished.
My 1st play was KI on live and this 12 year old Mexican demolished me.
This system is beasting while I'm waiting on my replacement quad since it bricked first day (so did my dads...).

Surprisingly, games have really been easy to scoop up for both systems. I was legit surprised to see that.

I know the xbox video/music apps are what i'm suppose to use...but how do i connect the One to my PC to stream the files from there? Whenever I go to the video/music app it's only showing me stuff Xbox has for stream/sale.
Pretty sure neither the XBone nor the Ps4 allow you to stream media.
They want you to buy theirs
