Dude is heckling Crump at the press conference.

Calling him an ambulance chaser on live TV.

Heckling Bakari now
Folk are waking up...And then Eric Garner mom talking now...Kinda feels like a circus tour at this point..black male gets killed, crump comes and bring the whole band..folk get paid, cop gets off (or light sentence)..Laws remain the same

The reality is that if Crump wasn't there, the NATIONAL attention wouldn't be focused on the story, and it would be easier to sweep under the rug.

Your take on that?

That's true, but let us not forget that he's eating and benefiting from these situations just as much if not more than others we've been complaining about.

You could also make the valid argument that these stories would still have national attention even if his presence isn't there because of the climate that we are in right now. A black male/person getting killed by the police will make national attention regardless of whether he is on the case or not. That excuse for him has gotten played out.

My take is that its a stale strategy leftover from the civil rights era...Crump and the band just was holding a press conference last week after Chauvin talking bout "we can all breathe again"...we aint never going to breath until we have some true black empowerment that leads to seperation..until then brehs will still get killed with no true justice or laws being changed

Thanks.
I'm talking about reality, though.
You are talking about hypothetical "separation" that won't ever happen here.
There are threads about police reform measures that have become laws since last year.
Everybody is frustrated because at any given time, many of us are vulnerable to be the next police brutality victim, but proposing fantasy scenarios does nothing.

Unfortunately, there are and will continue to be more of these stories.....national media cannot cover all of them.
With the national spotlight gone, local officials pull their regular shenanigans.
Crump's presence assures that national media will cover the story until there is a conclusion.

He's just a civil suit lawyer, he don't have power or the sway to do shyt though. That's the point. Him being there isn't going to change anything as the current climate makes it so that every case of someone getting killed by the police will bring national attention by itself. You don't need for him that anymore. National attention is enough to get a family paid in a civil suit without needing him as their lawyer.

As I said before, he's eating and benefiting off of these situations just as much as other people and activist that The Coli loves to complain about, yet he doesn't get a fraction of the criticism. Call it what it is.

There will always be another lawyer that can take his place as we've seen it happen many times before in previous situations like these.

Heres the thing, we are already separated due to redlining, race, and socio-economic factors..so what we need is 100% ownership of the institutions where ever we are seperated at...that is not pie in the sky theory...its actually very attainable like other ethnic groups in the US have already done...its the only way to deal with police brutality effective..cryin and beggin masta on TV will not get the job done in fact it will make it worse.
