Yes, I have to play it because of the game store I work at. We haven't broke street date, but we have to Play in case were asked questions.
Mediocre in what?? You played it or you just skimmed it for a few minutes?? I don't think a quick test or whatnot at a game store is a good way to experience a game.

Its logic like this that defends why people buy digital only. If I can buy it for $48 at best buy and sell it weeks later for $40, what's the problem?

I'm just not a fan of buying games I know I won't keep. Whether it's physical or digital doesn't matter to me. This game don't seem worth $60, and nikkas clearly stated it don't look like it's worth keeping...why rush to cop it at full retail or even at 20% off?

People do that all the time with longer games. Some just want to extend that $60 for a while. Cop a game used and beat it and return within 7 days.
All this furor about a damn game's length and nikkas acting like there's no way to actually play the game on release or near it while still saving money. :smh:

IDC about the game's length(or this game in general, tbh it never caught my attention, always looked mediocre). Just wondering why nikkas justifying buying a game talking about "Damn well, I'll cop and then sell it off few days later." Why not keep that 45-60 bones and cop a game that you know you'll play for longer and will be worth your money? Hit a game you aren't sure about on sale or rent it. Dropping full retail on games we just gonna sell off not even a month later is what's hot in the streets breh? :skip:

Because we want to play it when it comes out?? I mean is there something inherently wrong about that?? It' comes out soon, we want to play it. :yeshrug: Nothing complicated.

No problem with waiting for a price drop for a game that's "reportedly" short af.

:manny:

I said a while ago, that in order for this game to even make any kind of waves in the gaming world the story had to be on TLOU's or Uncharted 2's level. Having a hard time seeing why they didn't feel like a TPS should have a MP in it.

Devs are still furious on the backlash for this game and copping pleas

The Order: 1886 Dev Says "Internet Is The New Playground For Bullies"
Plus, Ready at Dawn offers new response for controversy surrounding the PlayStation 4 game's length.

"If you go and you eat a steak, if you pay $100 for a steak that tastes like the best steak you've ever had in your life but it's only 200 grams versus paying the same price for the worst steak you could want--but it's all-you-can-eat," he said. "There's an argument to be made that one is better than the other depending on who you are. If you just want to be full all the time then all-you-can-eat terrible steak, maybe that's for you?"

"I'm not saying it has to be that polarizing, I'm just asking why do we feel like we have to always measure things first and foremost in terms of quantity?" he added. "Which is why for our game we targeted a very good length for the game, but it wasn't our priority."

Jan said that when players complete The Order: 1886, they won't think it's a "short" game. In fact, he said its length will be similar to other games in the shooter genre. Facts about the game's length, which originated when someone completed a speedrun of the game in five hours, have been misrepresented, Jan argued. The game is actually in the neighborhood of 8-10 hours long, which indeed is in-line with other shooter games.

Dont give a shyt if it's short, as long as it's good. Stick of truth I 100% complete in 2 days, and it was a fantastic experience.
