Second no frills play through, hard difficulty camera bias on aim assist off. My first play through as I stated I spent the vast majority of it just looking at things and trying to see what I could and could not do.

Second play through time is just over 8 hours which includes an unspecified amount of time where I had to put my kids to bed and argue with my wife about hogging up the big TV during the walking dead.

So the game is only 2 hours long?
1886 seconds long.
The game is 8-12 hours long on average going by the playtime several folks who beat it on Neogaf.

The 5 hour figure is an outlier and the guy playing it pretty much rushed through it not taking time to stop and collect stuff or explore.

So basically its about 8 hours long give or take, which "should" be expected from most FPS.

Well the CTO of the RAD games just gave out this:
At an event in Milan, CTO Andrea Pessino finally answered in detail the topical question, asked by the audience.

According to Pessino, Ready at Dawn’s internal metrics show that if you play the game at a normal pace and difficulty level, you can finish the game in a windowbetween eight and ten hours. If you play in hard mode or you take your time to seek for every single little detail, you’ll probably clock about twelve hours or more.
Pessino also admitted that yes, if you rush through the game skipping everything you can, you can probably manage the clear in five hours and a half.

So the average dude is going to finish it in about 8 to 10 hours. :yeshrug:

so the fact a game might be mostly cut-scenes shouldn't concern people? I'm not even saying that's true of this game, but I don't think people are "past lame" if they care about how much actual gameplay the game has

And if someone was out defending the game making sure play times included the time sitting and watching that screen, they'd be an idiot :mjlol:

Lets he real, the majority of people playing games aren't gonna be walking slow and searching for useless shyt. Its not as if the trinkets are for upgrades or are particularly interesting/fun to find. There is no real "exploration" or puzzles, to extend the playtime. Its just a matter of people walking down the same corridor a bit slower just so they can say the game is longer.
