I'm playing RE HD right now and I can tell you, the handgun, knife, shotgun and etc. are always in the same spot every time. There's no crafting unless you want to call combing red and green herbs together a game changer .

Well we need some more tech demos on these consoles because as of right now a good 95% of them simply looked like cleaned up ps3/360 games

I know that. It's "worth" is up to the individual. Some people seem hard bent on telling these people that they are "wrong". Some dudes just want to beat a game and get it over with. It's not that preposterous.

RE2 had crafting and customization. I know in this day and age its seems remedial but mixing herbs, upgrading weapons, and choosing what type of ammo you could use adds gameplay depth. This game from what I hear doesn't even allow you to choose what weapon to use on certain chapters
