U can put games on ultra textures and run them at 8k resolution on 15 different monitors with 10 overclocked GTX titans and at the end of the day they're still just prettier versions of console ports

While real artist/creative geniuses can make Leonardo Da vinci type drawings with Crayola Crayons breh (really I've seen it)

I've yet to see a PC game maxed out that blends gameplay and cut-scenes as seamlessly as I've seen done with the Order (outside of Ryse which already looked great on the XB1 and achieved the same thing there)

Better hardware is always great but it means nada if ur only using it for indie games/RTS/ and console ports

Every blue moon u might see some PC exclusive piff like Star Citizen but that rarely happens and when it does it takes years to complete (like with Star Citizen)
Breh I hate to break it to you, but for gaming the PC has no rival. What keeps me intrigued with the Xbox one right now is the media features. It's basically the ultimate set top box if you have Kinect. It's unfortunate that it struggles reaching 1080p in games, but it is what it is. At $215 I paid for this it was well worth it, but not much more. I knew of the limitations coming in...after owning a PS4 and turning it on 5 times.

The PC is not as expensive nor as difficult as you guys believe. The only legit argument you guys have is sports games and some of those nice exclusives. You guys are overall paying more for less and don't see it. I don't even enter the Xbox live/PSN yearly fee on top of that.

Consoles are secondary devices to those who want to try the exclusives and play sports games.

I'll probably have to get a PS4 for the next fight night though :mjcry:

Half of the game is fukking cut scenes and the rest is pressing one button to perform an action. If you remove the blur effect, the game looks like it was made in 2011.

Not to mention that there are no games this "next gen" (lol).

With Steam there is no point in this shytty consoles that can't even run at 60fps.

havent played the order but i have to agree about steam. most of the sw worth having is there this gen.

bruh I own a PC, I've played Crysis 3 maxed out (1080p, not upgrading resolution until I can afford a 4K 50"). PC gaming is cool and all but ur not getting any titles that pay attention to detail the way TLOU or The Order does.

If Beyond Two Souls ever comes to PC then you might be able to experience true graphical greatness but until then it's just very pretty 3rd party console ports

Ultra Textures and higher resolution ain't everything. Yal ain't got the best creators in ur corner creating exclusive graphically piff, this is true. (I mean u have modders n sh1t, but I'm talking about straight out the box vanilla sh1t, nobody tryna wait 12 months for the "community" to make a game to look amazing)

character models, and art are probably the most realistic I've ever seen. Sh1t was lifelike....

Now if the textures, Anti Aliasing and resolution were upped I'm sure you guys would say it's the prettiest thing you've ever seen tho....

That's pretty much how sh1t goes round hurr

You are exposing yourself :heh:

Try L.A. Noire for your argument next time if you want to highlight character models and new techniques used for character interaction.

L.A. Noire is also available on the PC btw and looks better than the struggle console versions.

bruh, thats a console port with better textures and resolution, and from what I can remember it didn't come to PC until like a year or so later.

I'm not hating because better hardware is great, but the game was already pretty looking to began with.

U mean to tell me that Beyond Two Souls wouldn't be the BEST LOOKING VANILLA GAME on PC if they made a port for it right now?

The truth of that is a testament to how good the PS3 version already looked

That game in PC would be amazing, I'm not dissing PC gaming ...I'm just saying theres more to great visuals and art than just ultra textures, resolution and 550 frames per second

That's all opinion, I'm just judging it based of realism, u could throw Uncharted, God of War, TLOU, Gears, La Noire...etc etc in the mix. and they all look great also

But in my opinion in terms of sheer photo realistic graphics, it's definitely the best I've seen on PS3.

@Dragonfly Jones you wilding breh. There's plenty of PC games that look better than that. I agree it looks good, but you are forgetting the fact that both of those games are very limited linear games. Its not really a good comparison to other games that have much more freedom and have much more going on on screen. There's a reason the best looking console games are always super limited almost interactive movie type experiences.
